About

Our Story

Emu Plains Spinal and Sports Physiotherapy is a friendly professional practice that has been providing an excellent service to the area of Emu Plains and the surrounding community for 28 years. Established in 1997, it was taken over by Simon and his wife, Alison, in 2001. They have seen the practice evolve over the last 23 years and still hold true to their philosophy of providing good service and being an asset to the local community.

The practice adopts a holistic approach to treatment. "Our aim is to accurately assess and treat our clients in a friendly and relaxed environment, to optimise their performance or quality of life".

Our team of dedicated professionals are motivated to achieve the best outcome for our patients. We believe quality assessment and accurate diagnosis are the foundations for determining the appropriate treatment and management for any injury. Whether you’re an elite sportsperson, participate in recreational activities or someone who has hurt themselves gardening, every patient is examined and appraised systematically. We then provide a comprehensive explanation of what is wrong and what needs to be done to help you recover.

We have a strong interest in musculoskeletal injuries and exercise rehabilitation. Treatment provided is “hands on” manual therapy for the treatment of injuries to joints, muscles, tendons, nerves and ligaments. At Emu Plains Spinal and Sports Physiotherapy we understand that treatment also involves preventative care to reduce the risk of re-occurrence.

So if you’ve got neck pain from sitting at a computer or you’ve “pulled a hamstring” trying to set a world record, then get the right advice and treatment – first time with us.
