Casts
Casting is used to protect and support broken/fractured bones while they heal. Casts allow for complete immobilisation which ensures the injury heals completely. Our physiotherapists are qualified to apply and remove casts. Having completed the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Accredited Synthetic Casting course, our physiotherapists have the most up-to-date training related to applying lightweight casts including fibre-glass casts. We will also work closely with your GP to ensure safe healing and guide your recovery, from immobilisation through to achieving full range of movement and strength, then returning to all daily activities and sport.
